Who we are
Venalytics Inc. is a technology, software and research company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This policy covers the corporate website. Individual Venalytics products may have their own privacy policies and terms.
Information you choose to provide
Our contact form collects your name, work email, inquiry category, project stage and description. You may also provide an organization name, approximate budget and a request to discuss confidentiality. We use this information to understand and respond to your inquiry and manage related business communications.
Our talent network form collects your name, email, location, area of interest, introduction and résumé. You may include LinkedIn, portfolio or GitHub links. We use this information for recruitment and future talent consideration, with your agreement at submission. A submission does not guarantee an opportunity.
Technical information and anti-spam protection
Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, device or browser characteristics and security events to deliver and protect the website. The form service uses a time-limited hash derived from an IP address for rate limiting. It does not store the raw IP address with the form submission.
When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect forms from automated abuse. Cloudflare processes information for that security check under its own privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Cookies and analytics
We do not enable advertising trackers or analytics by default, and this website does not set cookies for its own functionality. Infrastructure or security services may use technologies necessary to deliver or protect the service. Any future optional analytics configuration should be reflected in this policy and an appropriate consent process where required.
Service providers and disclosure
We use service providers to host the website, store submissions and résumé files, protect forms and, where configured, deliver inquiry notifications. Information may be processed in Canada or other countries where those providers operate, and may be subject to the laws of those countries.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed for the purposes described here, with your consent, or where disclosure is permitted or required by applicable law. Résumé files are held in private storage and are not made publicly accessible through this website.
Retention and safeguards
We retain inquiry and talent information only for as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes, business records and applicable legal obligations. We periodically review retention needs. You may ask us to remove a talent submission or stop considering you for future opportunities.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access restrictions, encrypted transport and private file storage. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask about our practices, or withdraw consent to future use, subject to applicable legal and contractual limits. Use our contact form and identify the inquiry as a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Please do not submit identity documents through the initial form.
If our forms are unavailable, return to this page when the service is restored. A privacy complaint may also be directed to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (opens in a new tab) or the relevant privacy authority.
Confidential and sensitive information
Please do not include confidential intellectual property, trade secrets, proprietary documents or unnecessary sensitive personal information in an initial inquiry. Selecting the NDA option requests a discussion; it does not create a confidentiality agreement. We can discuss appropriate arrangements before receiving sensitive project details.
External websites
Links to products and other websites take you to services with their own policies. Review those policies before submitting information there.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in a manner appropriate to the change.
